Before we venture outside to paint our trees from direct observation, we are learning how to draw realistic tree branches. Here is a sneak peek of the work to come...
Fourth graders are starting off the year learning about value and the importance of using value within their artwork. They have been creating a fall sky, including a full moon. We have been studying pictures of the surface of the moon and learning how to shade the moon to make it look realistic. In the next few weeks we will be adding a tree to our artwork....stay tuned!
